Drawing portraits has never seemed a challenge to me, in fact I rather love doing it but ‘painting portraits’ is another story. I paint at least 5 – 6 portraits of the same person till I’m a little warmed up to finally paint a few more before I stop.The weird part is I know I can go on & on & never be satisfied & I can’t say why. It’s rare for me to feel completely satisfied with my painted portraits but these are the few portraits that have not driven me up the wall but have given me satisfaction of some sort to say that I can stop & pat my self on the back & take a break…
